Filmsupply Edit Fest 2022: 30 Days to Make the Cut and Win Big

Enter Filmsupply’s Edit Fest for a shot at over $50K in prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip to Sundance Film Festival and feedback from industry-leading judges.

Filmsupply-Edit-Fest-2022

At Filmsupply, we believe the moving picture is the most powerful way to tell stories that speak to the human experience. That belief serves as the foundation of Edit Fest, an annual editing competition that provides editors an opportunity to break through as storytellers and showcase their craft. Participants compete for over $50K in prizes and a chance to receive feedback from respected industry creatives.

How It Works

This year’s competition is focused on storytelling and concept. We’re shining a light on the creativity and storytelling ability of editors. We’re opening access to Filmsupply’s cinematic footage for you to create a spec piece for one of these categories: Advertisement, Movie Trailer, or Title Sequence. Musicbed has also made a selection of music available for submissions. Editors have 30 days to submit and the top prize in each category is an all-expenses-paid Sundance Film Festival experience and a prize pack of creative tools and assets.

Starter kits are free and available for download via filmsupply.com/editfest. Submissions open June 7 and close July 7. Voting for People’s Choice will run from July 11 until July 21. Category winners will be announced July 28, each selected by the following panel of industry-leading judges.
